John has been involved in lay leadership in the church for more than 20 years as an elder, teacher and then as a mission worker in Indonesia.  For the past 25 years he has served as an ordained minister in Australia and overseas.  John is in his fifth year in West Epping.  He is committed to pastoral care, nurturing people in their faith and bearing a Christian witness in the wider community.  

John is responsible for exercising oversight of West Epping’s many programs together with teaching, worship, preaching and ministry with seniors.

Radhika was born and bred in Canberra, and moved to Sydney in 2006 to study at Sydney University, Wesley Institute, and the United Theological College.  She holds a Bachelor of Music (Vocal Performance), an Associate Diploma in Vocal Performance (ANZCA), and a Bachelor of Theology with Distinction.  Radhika was ordained as a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia on the 6th February 2016 alongside her husband Adrian.  Radhika is passionate about music (singing, piano, choir conducting), creating sacred worship, ministering authentically as a Sri Lankan Tamil Australian young woman, Jesus, and brunch (but not necessarily in that order).  Radhika has a great love for all people, and brings a fresh vitality and energetic commitment to the life and witness of this church.

In this congregation, Radhika is responsible for community outreach programs, together with teaching, worship, preaching, and ministry with families and young adults.
