About Us: What we believe and our Church goals.

Who are we at West Epping Uniting Church?

Ordinary people reaching out to an extraordinary God!

  • Some are families who are trying to juggle all the busy and demanding aspects of their lives whilst doing their best for their children.

  • There are babies and children, who have an important place in our church.
  • There are young people who enjoy the opportunity to meet others at the same stage of life, who they can talk with about all the things that concern them.
  • Some people are coping with careers, some are overworked, some underworked.
  • There are retirees, and those enjoying being grandparents.

We all find that we make sense of everyday life from developing our faith as we journey through life together.

There is a place for all people of all ages at West Epping Uniting Church.

There is a place for you!

Our vision is to be a sanctuary within a demanding world, nurturing people as authentic followers of Jesus Christ.

What we believe at West Epping Uniting Church:

We believe that all people are loved by God, the creator of all things. So full and deep is this love of God, that he came to humanity in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, to show us how to live in fullness of life, and to confront the forces of evil and sin that are intent on distorting human life. For our wholeness and our healing, Jesus died on a cruel cross, taking away the consequences of our sin, and was raised from death in newness of life, allowing us again to be in relationship with God. To enable us to walk in a renewed way of living, God comes to all believers in the person of the Holy Spirit, to empower and to guide.

We believe God is at work bringing help and hope to many. We come to LIFE as we work with the Spirit and serve Jesus Christ in these ways:

support in Life stages

care in crIsis
